Family pictures at home

Hello 2017! To start this year with ideas, I’m posting today some family pictures at home.

This session happened last year (2016) and the pictures were used as a gift to the grandparents.

So, what did I do?

I basically just clicked. What I mean is: it wasn’t at all a formal session, like the ones that are asked to pose. And that is actually not my style of pictures.

Off course, there is a little bit of direction in case where to go, or some ideas of what to do. But, with kids, directions don’t really work. Then I let the kids free to do whatever they want.

And what you get in return is a lot of nice and spontaneous pictures. Even if you don’t expect or want the kid to look at you, that will happen naturally and that moment will be a beautiful one.

So, with this family wouldn’t be different. They where at home, they wanted to play and have fun. And that’s exactly what they did.

If they are in a place where they feel comfortable, it cannot go wrong.

I enjoyed that the kids felt comfortable in my presence and with the camera (that’s also important) and clicked details, moments of concentration and fun.

And that was the time that they actually started to interact with me and the camera, bringing even more nice images to the collection.
