Getting married in the rain… Some couples can actually not believe that a rainy day can result in beautiful pictures. In September of 2017, the day that Lize and Kristoff got married, rained quite a lot.

Still, nothing changed the smile in their face for being officially together. Luckily the rain disturbed only when we were protected. So it actually didn’t disturb at all. After a while, the sun came out to warm a bit and help with beautiful images.

The only thing needed was a super umbrella for two. Voila! Umbrella arranged by the groom, who knows very well where he lives (in Belgium :D).

The wedding happened in Beringen, a city from the region of Limburg. For the couple and family pictures we went to the mine and close by it. And the reception and dinner happened at the Grand Café Paal 26

Lize and Kristoff were very aware of the possibilities of rain and they were very fine with it. We had so much fun when were doing the couple session. They really go for everything that you suggest and they suggest even more.

Take pictures of a couple like this makes the day fly. Also makes me think how blessed I am by having the opportunity to be the one who is there to capture their love, their emotions…

I won’t forget Kristoff’s  face when he saw the album and let a tear fall from emotion.
