Hello! Another cool post from a super wedding that happened in Genk, Belgium. Yvette and Hans asked only one thing: “Do your job. It was for it that we fell in love and you’re the professional”. I was so happy to hear that. Of course that the clients who come to me search exactly for the style of pictures that I take, but leaving me totally (really totally) at ease during one of the couple’s most important days is more complicated. When I say this it is because customers usually direct a little what they expect from the photos. Which does not bother me at all.

Yvette and Hans chose not to pose with their friends. Official pictures only with parents, siblings and witnesses. The pictures of the couple lasted between 20 and 30 minutes and for them that was already enough.

I love that trust that is placed in me and in my work. I feel freer to create and capture the best moments of the couple’s day. Even though they do not want to take posed pictures, there is no lack of common sense for the photographer to have all the invited guests registered. And it does not mean that the guests do not want to pose for the photographer 😉

That day everything flowed as it had to flow. And after the couple got the pictures, I was even happier with the message they sent me, saying they loved the result and that was exactly what they expected, that they were extremely pleased.

So as not to boast, I’ll let you check a little of what happened while I was there.
