In May 2018 I photographed a super special wedding. Every detail was well thought out and the fun guaranteed. I’m talking about the marriage of Aurelie and Dimitri, a super cool couple who enjoyed the wedding from beginning ‘til end.

Dimitri owns a fiat car garage and he is in love with the Fiat 500. So of course he used them at the wedding. Every witness drove a car and I, coincidentally, also had the same at the time.

There were 7 Fiat 500 lined up, giving a special touch to the day of the bride and the groom. The cars were also part of the decoration of the party (in a much smaller version: D), completing the link.

From the beginning of the day until the time I was at the party, the loose laugh was present all the time. Family and super animated guests, completely following the bride and groom’s style. The ceremony could not have been any different. Two actors, clothed in priest, celebrated in style and drew even more laughter from everybody. There was not one person who did not laugh at this celebration.

The day began very early with the making of, followed by the couple photos very close to the house of the newlyweds. Soon after the civil ceremony took place. After that we went to Gravenhof’s Castle, where the religious ceremony, reception and party took place. A place to take your breath away and to sigh. And with this couple, to make you laugh a lot.

The party? One of the most lively I’ve ever photographed. From the moment it started until the moment I was present the dance floor did not stand still for a minute. Young, old … There was no age limiting the fun there.

Aurelie and Dimitri, I wish you years and years full of happiness and much love. That you continue to laugh with those around you but especially with each other. Thank you for your trust and for allowing me to be the eyes your day.
